Library Activities
When: All Week

March Break at Blue Mountain
When: March 14-22
Get ready for days filled with adventure and fun on and off the slopes! March Break is family time at Blue Mountain with activities, interactive performances, fireworks and more!

Blumination Dream Trail at Blue Mountain
When: Until March 28, Dusk - 10pm
Spectacular lights. Sensational sounds. A one kilometer winter stroll through the heights of innovation to the edge of your imagination. More info here. 


Scenic Caves
When: Open daily, 9-5
Celebrate March Break with outdoor adventures, including Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing(A wide variety of birds including winter owls, deer, rabbits and other wildlife can be seen during any given winter visit.). Visit Southern Ontario’s longest Suspension Bridge, Scavenger Hunt, path of wooden sculptures, Children’s Adventure Playground, Warm-up Cabin, roast spider dogs + s’mores at the outdoor fire pit and more. Wye Marsh
When: March 14 - March 22
Unplug the kids and reconnect them to nature this March Break. Wye Marsh offers daily activities including Sugar Shack Demos, Feature Creature Demos, trails for cross country skiing or snowshoeing, or Swan viewing! Click here for the daily activities and more info.



Simcoe County Museum
When: March 14-22
Every day is a birthday at the Simcoe County Museum this March Break. Visit the museum to celebrate the 90th birthday of the Simcoe County Museum with games, treats and crafts! You can explore their galleries, learn about traditional birthday games, decorate a birthday treat and even leave with a loot bag! Museum Members and preschoolers are free, Adults $8, Seniors/Youth $6, Children $5. http://museum.simcoe.ca

Traditional Pow Wow
When: March 14
Georgian College’s Indigenous Resource Center hosts this annual event. Enjoy a celebration of traditional Indigenous culture, song, and dance. More Info here. 

Moonlight Snowshoeing at Horse Shoe Resort
When: March 14 & 21, 6:30pm & 7:30pm
Enjoy a 2km guided moonlight snowshoe through the forest. Snowshoeing at night is a special winter experience. Afterwards, warm up by the fire while you roast marshmallows and sip on some hot chocolate! More info here. 

March Break Family Fun Pass
When: March 15-19

Tiffin Center
When: Monday, March 16 & Friday, March 20
Tour the Tiffin’s sugar bush, visit the sugar shack, try snow shoeing, and explore the forest on a scavenger hunt. Located just 15 minutes west of Barrie, the Tiffin Center makes for a great family day outdoors. For more info or to register, visit here. 



Cap off your week with the kids with Vineyard Snowshoe & Wine
