3 Tips to Help You Take the Stress Out of Back To School: Bussing, Child Care and PA Days

1.  Transportation.

“Will my child be bussed to school?”
The Simcoe Board has created a Bus Planner tool to help determine whether or not your child requires bus transportation. Simply click here to be redirected. You will be prompted for your street number, street name, city and school board. Have more questions about bussing? 2.    Arranging Before/After School Care

“Does the school offer on-site before and after school care?”
More and more schools are setting space aside for on-site before and after school care programs for parents. Click here to review the Simcoe County District School Board’s comprehensive list of 2018-2019 Before/After Child Care.

3.     Plan Ahead for PA Days with the 2018/2019 Simcoe County District School Board Calendar

“Another PA day?”
All parents have been here at one time or another when just as you’re settling in for some quality family time, your child announces that tomorrow is a PA day. Getting blindsided by a PA day isn’t fun and leaves many parents scrambling for additional care. Take the stress out of PA days by marking them ahead and setting notifications in your calendar.
