Angus Community in Essa Township boasts many attractive amenities that are of interest to prospective homeowners. Our team has taken the liberty of compiling a list to help you research the Angus Community to see if it’s a good fit for you and your family. 

Schools

Understanding the school boundaries is an important decision for young families looking to purchase a home in a new area. The Simcoe County District School Board has made it easier than ever to determine which school to register your child. Parks: Nature enthusiasts and young families alike will enjoy the variety of parks and natural spaces that the Angus Community has to offer. We’ve taken the liberty of compiling several of the local parks and features below. 

Perfect Spot for an Afternoon Picnic & Playground Fun


Each of these parks features picnic tables and playground structures. Pack a lunch and make an afternoon of it with your family.

*This park does not have a playground structure.

Sports Enthusiasts**
  • Angus Arena: skateboarding
  • Brownley Meadows Park: playground and soccer field 
  • Bob Geddes Park: baseball facilities
  • Glen Eton/Wildflower Park: This popular park features picnic tables, playground structure, tennis courts, outdoor pads and off-leash dog park.
  • Lion’s Ball Park: picnic tables and baseball facilities

Nature**

Enjoy a picnic lunch and some afternoon fishing at Don Ross & Nottawasaga Fishing Parks. Both parks boast picnic tables and fishing access. Spend the afternoon walking the trail at Nottawasaga Fishing Park.

Water Fun**

There’s nothing more fun than cooling off in the summer heat with a quick trip to the splash pad. Spend a morning, afternoon or the whole day. Picnic tables playground (except LeClair. With even more great features below!

  • LeClair Soccer Park: trail access
  • Stonemount Park: outdoor pad.

Just a short drive away the Georgian Mall offers residents of the Angus Community a wide range of shopping opportunities.
