Easter Egg Hunts

There’s something magical about an outdoor Easter egg hunt. Excitement fills the air as children scurry to find all of the colourful eggs left behind by the Easter bunny. Our team has pulled together a few of the local Easter egg hunts taking place around the region, as well as some updates about sold out and cancelled events.

Chappell Farm’s Spring Festival: Celebrate Spring this weekend from 10-4pm, Friday, Saturday & Sunday at Chappell Farm’s Spring Festival with wagon rides, bale run, displays and play area. Animal lovers will enjoy the baby animals and petting animals on-site. Hunts will be taking place hourly. Admission is $11.00/per person and children 2 and under are free of charge.

Drysdale’s Tree Farm: We highlighted this Easter egg hunt on our Facebook page, earlier in the week but the Zootek Exotic Animal Show and magician makes it worth an extra mention.

Don’t forget to pre-register for your egg hunt to avoid disappointment. The pre-registration form is located on the left of the homepage. Hunts are available 10am, 12pm and 2pm on all weekend long. Adults: $8.50 and Children: $19.50.

Sold Out: Copeman Tree Farms Easter egg hunt has sold out this year! Proceeds from the Easter egg hunt will be used to fund a vision screening machine, for children’s eye screening.

Cancelled: Rounds Ranch in Elmvale, ON has cancelled their Easter egg hunt this year due to below seasonal temperatures. This popular Easter egg hunt venue will be missed this year, but luckily there are lots of alternatives for you to choose from.

We love to see you out and about enjoying local community events. Tag #erinsimcoecounty so we can share in your Easter fun.
