Winter Festivals are exciting and fun especially in

Alice in winter land Carnival: This festival is a yearly fishing festival on

• Port
Sydney Winter Carnival takes place from the 22nd of January to the 23rd every

• Celebrate

light parade.
• Bracebridge
fire and ice festival: from the 30th of January, Bracebridge will come alive as
it begins the traditional winter carnival. This fire festival will feature fire
artists, fireworks and fire pits while the ice carnival will feature a skating
trail, ice displays, live music and try-it-out events.
• Midland’s
annual outdoor winter fest: this event begins on February 5th and is the
biggest outdoor festival yet and is a perfect festival with an activity for all
members of the family.
• Port
Carling winter fest: this festival kicks off with fireworks, chocolate and hot
dogs along with music and dance. It has events for the entire family such as
face painting, dog show, log sawing and horse and wagon rides. The festivities
cover a two-day period and on the second day, there are events such as a pancake
breakfast and a snow snake competition, the silent auctions, on the other hand,
takes place all weekend long.
• Snofest
winter carnival: this family festival begins on the 16th of January and has
some events lined up, and they include Sno Jamming Family Day, pony rides,
youth art shows, library story time and the anniversary of Snofest
Peterborough.
• Haliburton
frost fest: beginning on the 13th of February, the Halliburton frost fest
presents the 9th Annual Halliburton Highlands. Other fun activities include ice
slide, outdoor movie, dogsled derby, snowmobile scavenger hunt and giant
bonfires.
